A PAIR OF WW2 GERMAN KRIEGSMARINE 8X60 BINOCULARS BY "blc" (CARL ZEISS)
The right top plate stamped with serial number 2160878
Overall condition is very good. Original finish remains largely fresh, though there are small losses around edges, consistent with use. Metal bands round objective lenses are worn, with the lacquer finished chipped off generally. Rubber eyepieces are fairly good but are rather dry and cracked at flex points. Leather strap is very dry, worn and torn at one end. Though we are not optics specialists, the lenses do appear to be in good condition and free from any obvious scratching.
