Valuations – Contact the Specialists

Our specialists are available to discuss current market values online, by email, by telephone, or in person.

If you would like to discuss a particular item with one of our specialists, please view our staff page and contact the relevant valuer.

 You can request a free valuation on items for sale in one of the following ways:

 

Online

To receive an online valuation, fill out our valuation form. To allow our specialists to provide you with accurate estimates, please submit as much information as possible about your items, including:
  • High quality photographs
  • Condition/damage
  • Details and close ups of marks/maker’s names/symbols/signatures
  • Dimensions
  • Provenance (history) of the items, if known

You can fill out the form multiple times for different items. We will endeavour to respond as quickly as possible.

By Email

Submit images and a written description of your items directly to the appropriate specialist by visiting our department or specialist pages. If you are unsure who you need to contact, you can submit your images [email protected]. Please note images cannot exceed more than 10mb.

 

In-house valuations

Bring your items to the saleroom at 1291 Dumbarton Road, G14 9UY, Glasgow. Our specialists are available to appraise your items. We can provide you with auction estimates, provisional sale dates and explain the auction process. This is a free, no obligation service. House Visits

Confidential visits to your home can be arranged throughout the United Kingdom for private collections, whole or partial house contents, and larger items that are difficult to transport. To make an appointment, please telephone 0141 954 1500.
