A DECORATIVE YELLOW METAL FOB SEAL
the bloodstone face intaglio carved, with a griffin and family crest, the body of the seal with floral and foliate design, the bright yellow metal split ring is in the shape of an ouroboros serpent, diameter 2.8cm, length of the fob seal 3.5cm. Weight 23.6gms
There are no hallmarks or stamps on either piece, the seal has quite deep areas of wear to the urn shape and the area below, and I can see no difference in metal colour there at all, the top loop however does this could be solder? Please see condition report photos.
The bloodstone seal is nicely carved, has no chips but is clogged with wax.
