A PROPELLING PEN & PENCIL
the yellow metal body with all over floral and scrolled engraving, with two sliders one for the pencil and one for a ink pen. Engraved to the side A.W. Smith , 31st March 1881, the shield-shaped terminal set with a seal engraved foil backed gem, bearing the monogram of AWS. Length closed 9.5cm, open 12.5cm, weight 22.7gms In original fitted box from John Young Glasgow.

Condition report please.
Particular attention to the PENCIL element: Is it functioning/ turning for the internal metal spike to reveal more or less lead in the pencil opening ?
A; You can easily 'turn up' more lead but needs a bit of help to wind it back. the slider works fine.

The terminal: Any chips or gouges to the stone ?
A; A few minor chips to the edge, which are just eye visible. A little bit of wax is still present.

Any indentations or bent parts to the barrel/ damage overall ?
A; overall the barrel in good condition, no dents or bends.

Your description say this lot has original box??
A;- Photo of the original box in condition report images.

A;- No issues, I refer you to my previous condition report.
ABout this pencil, its fouction operate normally??
A;- Yes, see above.
it can rotate that lead normally?
A;- Yes, see above & photos.
I see this size of lead seem very big??? could you tell me it size???1.2mm or 1.5mm or 2mm???
A;- the lead is approx 1.48mm thick.
Material condition: This pen is solid gold made or gold plated??, please show its hallmark enlarge picture to me.
A; There is no hallmark, it is a yellow metal item, these are usually thickly gold cased, not plated...with metal internal workings.
This pen surface, do they have any crack or issues???
A;- very light wear.
