Gary Anderson is a painter and draughtsman, born in Baillieston, Glasgow, he studied at the Glasgow School of Art. His work is expressive, colourful and imaginative, deriving inspiration from the circus and Chinese watercolours. Notable awards include: John D Kelly Award, 1981; D W T Cargill Award, 1984; Arthur Young Prize, 1987. Exhibitions include: the Compass Gallery, Glasgow, Open Eye Gallery and the Fine Art Society, London. Ewan Mundy Fine Art has shown his work in New York, London and Glasgow.
