A VICTORIAN CAMEO
depicting a finely carved Elizabethan style lady in Etruscan revival, granulation and wire work, locket back brooch mount. Made in yellow metal, with early photograph behind glazed panel. Dimensions 5.7cm x 4.7cm, weight 30.7gms.
Yes it would be possible to remove the photo, any jeweller should be able to do this for you, it just needs its retaining rim delicately lifting out with the glass, this will give you access to the photo.
