£200
A collection of 19th century theatre posters/playbills, to include large scale examples for the Garrick Theatre and Royal Panarmonion, St. Pancras, others for Shakespearean productions; also including an earlier George III example for the Theatre Royal, Covent Garden, dated 1782
All playbills are delicate and tissue-y. Most are foxed and sunned. Many with widespread creasing/dog-earring and tears round edges. There are losses to some at edges. The larger playbills have been folded for storage and as such are deeply creased.
