Cynthia Wall was a Scottish contemporary and Post War artist, and she was educated at the Glasgow School of Art in the mid forties. William Armour, David Donaldson and Geoffrey Squire were among her tutors throughout her education. Her work has a unique sensitivity to colour, form and mark making, and she is one of Scotland’s highly regarded female artists. Notable exhibitions and collections include: the Royal Scottish Academy; Royal Glasgow Institute; the House of Lords, and the Hunterian Museum.
