AN EMERALD STATEMENT RING
the bright yellow metal mount is set with a step cut emerald of approx 8.7mm x 8.9mm x 5.5mm, set with 1.80cts of old cut diamonds. Finger size K, weight 6.8gms
Most of the diamonds are good colour clean and bright, just one which might have been a replacement has quite a bit of carbon when seen with a loope, by eye it looks the same as the others. Emerald is a good colour and is about 3/4 clear with a hazy patch to one side, a few tiny flea bite chips to the top facets that cant be seen by eye. The whole top of the ring has been made to unscrew to convert to a pendant, this unfortunately is not with the ring, shank all good, the claws do need re-tipping urgently.
