Hilda Goldwag’s practice included paintings, commercial illustrations and designs, and many of her works are depictions of everyday life in Glasgow, including panoramic landscapes, studies of foliage, figures from her imagination as well as tenements, Cowcaddens’ warehouses and the Forth and Clyde canal. Goldwag exhibited across Scotland, and she was an award winning and exhibiting member of the Scottish Society of Women Artists, as well the Paisley and Milngavie Art Clubs. Public collections include Scottish Jewish Archives Centre and Strathclyde University.
