AN AGATE CAMEO RING
classical mask themed cameo, carved in brown and cream agate, with ruby eyes. mounted in an antique ring with decorative split shoulders with an old cut diamond and ruby bezel. size of the top of the ring 19.2mm x 15mm, finger size L1/2, weight 5.9gms
There is no hallmark so I cannot say definitely, but it is certainly in the late Georgian early Victorian style, and how it is made, I have no reason to believe it is modern. The agate intaglio is in good condition, all gems are in situ.
