Shona Barr studied at the Glasgow School of Art and is one of Scotland’s most evocative female artist’s to date; she draws inspiration from the natural world, often through painting au plein air. She captures the essence of the landscape and flora, whilst allowing a natural interplay with abstraction. Notable exhibitions include the Royal Scottish Academy; the Royal Academy and the Royal Glasgow Institute.
