The bagpipes were passed from father to son and were played during campaigns in both WWI and WWII. Photographs of both pipers father and son are also included.
Ivory Declaration Reference - DG4YQETW
The bagpipe is in overall good condition, with general surface scratches and dings throughout typical with ordinary use. Two larger chips to the top section of a drone and bass top joint. Large split to the ivory on the bottom of the bass top joint. We are unable to comment on the playability or tonal quality in relation to condition.
