A pair of Arts & Crafts white metal amethyst and chalcedony earrings, enamelled silver swallow brooches and other items
earrings; no hallmark, no makers mark. Tarnish throughout. Craftsman made, hand cut stones, cut to fit the design? or earrings made to accommodate the stones? one of the points of the amethyst has a chip, probably from setting, it is eye visible if you know its there, all settings closed back, no water ingress. Reminds me of the work of Bernard Instone.
swallow brooches, both stamped Sterling silver, no makers marks, big one has chip to one wing right side in the black enamel. Small one has a pin hole from firing at base of the tail.
pearl chain; is nice imitation pearls, marks to the clasp.
Baby brooch; all hand engraved white metal no hallmarks.
Provanance; from a moneyed family from Inverness, fresh to the market, generations of jewellery cleared from an attic etc
