Both bearing Reichsadler flanked "M" and "IV/1" on right top plate, numbered respectively 2068593 and 2073247; the left top plates both marked "Artl." and numbered respectively 3262 and 7964 (2)

2068593 - Leather strap is dry, with a much deteriorated surface. Chips/scratches/paint losses to top plates and hinge. General surface dirt. Wear to barrels commensurate with use, worst towards the objective lenses. Eyepiece lenses appear free from any notable damage. One objective lens with spots of internal fungus; the other some scratching to the interior side.
2073247 - Leather strap with much surface damage. Chips, scratches and paint losses to the top plates, hinges and eyepiece rings. Widespread wear/losses to the rough coating of the barrels. General surface dirt. Binoculars give a clear image, with one lens showing crosshairs. Eyepieces lenses with light scratching and surface dirt. One objective lens appears mottled (possible fungus?). Some small scratches visible to objective lenses.
