in stainless steel, with black dial, gold coloured chevron numeral and hands, with date aperture. Diameter of the case 3.4cm, weight 38.1gms. Serial number 749960 circa 1952, Model number 66*4.
Can you please tell me if this is a manual or an automatic watch and can you please share photos of the bracelet fitting area between the lugs (both ends)?
A;- This is a manual watch, photos as best as I can manage in the condition report photos, they are very rubbed and scratched from a previous watch strap, as I catalogued the item the numbers that I can make out are 749960 serial number, model number 66*4, the asterix marks a number I cannot make out it has a top loop, could be 8 or 9.
The Rolex branded crown wont engage with the thread. Can be persuaded to wind, but wont keep going, probably needs a good service.
