A bronzed birdbath in the form of an antique urn with twin acanthus handles and figures from a bacchanalian scene
Approximately 41cm wide x 33cm deep x 21cm high.
This looks at one time to have been the upper portion of an urn, with screw holes where it would have been affixed to a columnar support. As such, it stands unstably in its current form.
Overall condition is fair, with widespread verdigris and patches of surface rust. Within the hollow casting there is a loose component, which rattles when the piece is moved. Small splashes of apparent white paint in places.
