A WHITE OPAL & DIAMOND CLUSTER RING
mounted in white metal , set with a central oval cabochon opal, surrounded with a ring of old cut diamonds, with an estimated approx diamond total of 0.50cts, the opal is approx 12mm x 8.7mm, finger size L, weight 4.8gms
Opal;- looks ok by eye with a loope does have quite a few scratches as you would expect with an opal, NO really big deep scratches or dinks. Diamonds;- old cuts, have some surface reaching inclusions, to include twined crystal scars, which have been polished round, to maximise the diamond weight, no carbon dots, only clear feather & crystal inclusions.
