Tom Shanks is regarded as one of Scotland’s most impressive artists, and he is known for his evocative landscape works, mainly of the West Highlands. After graduation, he worked as a designer in the Edinburgh Weavers Dovecot studios, but throughout this endeavour, he pursued his ongoing fascination with the Scottish landscape. With watercolour, pen and ink, Shanks brings to life atmospheric lochs, glens and mountains, capturing the life of the landscape.
