A graduate of the Royal College of Art, Darren Woodhead is a field painter based in East Lothian. Primarily working en plein air in Scotland and on expeditions further afield, he explores nature, birdlife, mammals and scenery. His works encompass the energy of the outdoors, and the artist appeared on BBC2’s Springwatch Unsprung in 2017. His work was part of the The Astor Collection from Tillypronie, Aberdeenshire, which was offered at Christies in 2017.
