Born in Gourock, Low enrolled at the Glasgow School of Art in 1942. Following a short lived teaching career, she was increasingly inspired by the outreach project, Glasgow’s Unity Theatre, and later associated with the Clyde Group of artists and writers. She was a contributor to the conception of the New Charing Cross Gallery in 1963 which promoted contemporary art. Low was also noted as one of the Glasgow Girls.
Large areas of foxing to sheet particularly lower left side, surrounding sheet has various marks around print area. Please refer to images. Small crease in paper through work title. Print area itself looks to be in good order.
