A BLACK OPAL PENDANT WITH SIMILAR RING
the pendant mounted in 9ct gold appears to be a solid piece of opal, with matrix to the back. Dimensions 18mm x 15mm x 5.4mm. Pendant drop 3cm, length of the 9ct rope chain 46cm. The 15ct gold ring is set with a similar coloured opal doublet, finger size N, weight combined 7.8gms
small chips to the edge of the opal in the ring, and all over cracks between the layer and the matrix, see photos for clarity. Images of the back of the pendant look for the flashes of colour within the matrix, l am happy that this is a solid opal, the ring is a doublet. Both mounts ok.
