There are significant splits to the wood of the barrel, running along its full length. General surface wear, with chips and small losses throughout. Brass elements are all tarnished, with pitting and light surface rust in places. There is wear/abrasion to the adjustable brass tube connecting the eyepiece to the barrel. Legs of the tripod base sit slightly unevenly. Objective lens is scratched. All lenses are very dirty but appear to be free from fungus. Eyepiece barrel is formed of two lengths. Heavy wear to the case, with long splits to lid and marks generally. Internal supports for eyepiece are loose.
