Jade and jadeite is a massive family of gemstones, it is this companies policy to say, Chinese green hardstone or green hardstone when describing this material. I can tell you it takes a detailed carving and a good bright polish. The back is plain and uncarved. Both pendant and chain are in good order with just light general wear.
