Lilly's Christian Astrology - Later vellum binding is in good overall condition. Covers bend outwards somewhat. Hand-drawn diagrams to first endpaper and reverse of engraved frontispiece and title page. Text with occasional annotations. Title page torn. Page 166 with a patched-in repair to top corner. Pages generally in good condition, with a degree of browning and warping throughout. Marks and creasing in places. Occasional damage to page edges. Roughly scrubbed out annotations to page 128. Large tear to the bottom corner of page 193. Page 206 possibly misplaced as previous catchword does not correspond, though numbered correctly. Some fading to text on page 529. Text ends with index. It appears the final pages have been lost, as the last printed page runs only up to the letter H. Otherwise, text appears to be complete, with all catchwords matching. Some dark staining to page edges. Overall, an interesting, clearly well-studied, copy.
