A TANZANITE AND DIAMOND PEARL CLIP
made in 18ct yellow and white gold, set with a pear-shaped tanzanite of approx 7mm x 10mm, with a pave set diamond bail, length of clip 2.2cm, can be used with pearls or beads. With a string of cultured pearls each pearl approx 5mm, overall length 42.5cm, with a 14k white gold clasp, weight 16.5gms
All of the diamonds are in situ, light general wear, no damage, pearls have a nice lustre, clasp works ok, the tanzanite clip also.
The clasp is ok. The tanzanite clip is secure, as long as it is done up properly, please see photos.
I don't estimate the weight of coloured gemstones as this is a mine field of complicated maths, what I can do is give you the dimensions of the stone, its a pear shape so the length is estimated as the point is in the setting 10mm x 7mm x 3.9mm.
