this substantial ring is set with a large step cut emerald with the dimensions of 13mm x 10mm x 8.3mm in a bezel setting surrounded with estimated approx 4.50cts of brilliant cut diamonds. Finger size O1/2, weight 12.1gms
Emerald;- A good deep colour, multiple inclusions to include a long needle in a deeper green, various surface reaching inclusions, that are natural to emerald, and it has probably been treated to stabilise these, more translucent than transparent.
Diamonds;- by eye nice and bright and a good colour, with a loope a small sprinkling of carbon dots in most, with some clear feather type inclusions, clear crystals etc, only a couple of the bigger carbon dots are actually visible by eye.
