Irish Guards - good overall condition. Bases of spines are a little crumpled. Corners bumped. Minor scuffs to covers. Some wear and discolouration to paper labels. Gilt top page edges are very crisp. Deckle edges are similarly fresh. Pages internally in good order. Volume I's map frontispiece is detached and inserted loose.
From Sea to Sea - spines are bubbled. Bumps to base of spine. Covers minimally marked. Top page edges lightly discoloured/dirty. One significant dark mark to Vol. I page edges. Each volume inscribed to Frances A.E. Morgan, Easter 1902 "From my very dear friends, the Members of the Thursday Club". Vol. I half title with a small tear to top edge. Some dog-eared pages. Pages otherwise are generally clean with light fading and minimal marks towards endpapers.
