KIPLING, RUDYARD THE WORKS
The "Bombay Edition", MacMillan and Co., London 1913-1919, twenty-five volumes, the first being signed by Kipling to the half-title, one of 1,050 copies printed, in cloth-backed paper-covered boards with paper labels to spines, 8vo (25)

More Information

Cloth spines lightly foxed throughout. Paper covered boards are good overall, though with varying degrees of discolouration/marking, typically near to cloth spines. Minor bumps to head a foot of spines. Gilt top page edges are a little dulled. Some minor tearing/scuffing to paper titles on spines. Volumes are generally nice and crisp internally. Variable foxing towards endpapers throughout. Pages are deckle-edged and there is discolouration/wear to those that are exposed. The signed half-title of volume I is rather browned/mottled. The signature however is nice and crisp. Bookseller's pencil annotation to final endpaper.

Pleased be advised that owing to the extent of the set, we are not able to provide exhaustive condition notes. The above gives an indication of the condition overall.
