A Leitz Wetzlar Orthoplan biological microscope, fitted with phase contrast/brightfield objective lenses, 5 position objective turret and trinocular eyepiece head, with a boxed smartphone camera adapter
Microscope is fitted with 8x magnification eyepieces.
Three objective lenses are fitted - respectively Leitz 170/0.17 Oel 100/1.30, Leitz 170/0.17Phaco 40/0.65 and Leitz 170/- Phaco NPL 10/0.25.
Included is a printed general guide to microscope use and nomenclature. Please note that this is not specific to this particular model of microscope.
As we are not optical specialists, the functionality cannot be guaranteed. The microscope was consigned to us by a professional microscopist and it has been well maintained, presenting in very good overall aesthetic condition.
The light currently works correctly.
