Covers of Part 1 with water spots and faded from the original grey-blue to brown. Wear and fading to all other covers, with varying degrees of severity. Some tears to surface of covers and bumps to corners throughout. Endpapers generally are browned, with some foxing to pages in all volumes. Colour plates have adhered to the facing pages in some instances, leading to some transfer of ink/damage to the plates.
