A 19th CENTURY SILK EMBROIDERED BIBLICAL CROSS
With a central depiction of Christ under initialism INRI, measuring approx. 71cm high x 54cm wide
There are multiple areas where the threads have come loose/become frayed. Some areas of heavy wear, particularly beneath the central figure of Christ and to the lower figure, with the silk embroidery lost entirely. INRI initialism and bird above are similarly worn, as too are elements of the two figures flanking Christ.
