A SCROLL MOUNTED DIAMOND RING
the bright yellow mount set with three old cut diamonds, with an estimated approx diamond total of 1.30ct, with further rose cut diamonds on the setting. Finger size K, weight 3.4gms
I cannot give you a full 4 C's report as I am not qualified to do so, but I can tell you what I can see.
Diamonds are bright and clean in the flesh probably about an H colour, but they do draw some darkness, from the setting, which has been probably 'Chimney tarnished' (things get hidden up chimneys... over time the heat & smoke tarnish items...) , its kind of 'blued', behind the diamonds and to the recesses of the mount.
5.57 x 5.55 x 3.46 =0.68cts
4.48 x 4.49 x 2.41 = 0.31cts
4.23 x 4.44 x 2.95= 0.35cts = 1.34cts.
Some wear to the mount from rubbing on another ring, but has been recently re-clawed, nice bright and clean diamonds. They look dark everything to do with the setting & not the diamonds.
