A pair of Satsuma vases, by Choshuzan, of baluster form, decorated on a ground of bamboo, with vignettes of figures dining, another smaller decorated with arhats, and another decorated with warriors amongst waves and scholars with red-capped cranes (4)
One of the pair of vases has gilt rubbed to the band of flowers at the centre, some loss of gilt to the petal banding at the top and rim. The other of the pair - gilt largely intact, some loss to rim. all are crazed, no chips or cracks
