A 1920s black chiffon evening dress woven with metallic threads in floral design, with chiffon hanging sleeves and attached beaded cape, a French gold lamé dress with lace trim and sleeves, an L.P. Hollander & Co. New York green clutch coat with rabbit fur trim, and a mink stole (4)
Black dress: There are underarm stains on both sides and a rip to one underarm. A few loose gold threads but otherwise the front appears ok. There are some missing and loose beads to the end of the cape. There are belt loops on the back of the dress however there is no belt. The train has been sewn into a v shape, part of this has become detached. Both hanging sleeves appear intact. Gold dress: There is discolouration to both the front and back and what looks like burn marks. There is a slit sewn into the front. Yellow trousers: Some small marks, rip to one side, a repair to the knee area. Clutch coat: There are holes in the bottom of the inside of the pockets. Some balding to the fur around the back of the neck but otherwise fur is ok. There is a hole to the bottom seam and the fur trim has dropped out a bit. Some marks to the green fabric. The label is ripped and may have been resewn. Mink: Some rips to joins.
