A FORTINO MOTA, TAXCO MEXICAN MODERNIST BRACELET
set with amethysts to the silver half moon pattern links. Fortino Mota worked for Antonio Pineda the internationally renowned silversmith from Taxco, Mexico. The bracelet is signed Mota Tasco, with 'Mexican eagle' makers mark number 183, 925 silver mark, Length 18.5cm. Together with a pair of silver and amethyst swirl earrings, stamped Sterling Taxco, with the eagle mark possibly stamped with the number 3 and makers initials BR. Weight together 74.7gms

The exact length of the bracelet is 18.5cm, as mentioned in the description, this is not including the tongue of the clasp. There is a very slight curvature to the links which might gain and extra .5cm over the length. There are some tiny flea bite chips to the facet edge of most of the amethysts, only a few are eye visible. It has been loved and worn, light dents and tarnish throughout.
