Dundee Hibernian (later United) F.C. – a 9ct gold and enamel medal
By Thomas James Skelton, Chester, 1923, the obverse cast “DHFC” over lion rampant device, weight 8.8g

Note: Originally formed in 1909, Dundee Hibernian was renamed Dundee United in October 1923, the year this medal was produced. Shortly prior, the club became a limited company, changed their colours and created their first official badge. It seems likely that the medal was struck to commemorate one of these events.
