A WW2 M.B.E. MEDAL GROUP OF FOUR
Awarded to 192193 (Temporary) Senior Commander Margaret Alicia Cowell, Auxiliary Territorial Service (10th April 1945), comprising (Military) M.B.E. on ladies’ bow ribbon, Defence Medal, War Medal and Territorial Efficiency Medal (named J. Comd. A.M. Cowell A.T.S.), with two corresponding ribbon bars; together with a WW1 and later medal group of three, awarded to Captain H.K. Oswald, comprising British War Medal and Victory Medal (Lieut. H.K. Oswald) and India General Service Medal with Waziristan 1919-21 and 1921-24 clasps (Capt. H.K. Oswald); and a further WW1 medal pair, awarded to Captain H.G.H. Cowell, with corresponding miniatures; housed together in a gilt framed display case, measuring approx. 69.5cm x 23.5cm; with a small quantity of cap badges, uniform buttons and formation patches for the Anti-Aircraft Command and 11th Anti-Aircraft Division, contained in a card box addressed to Senior Commandant F.M. Dixon, Group Commandant, 43 Group A.T.S.
