A MOURNING SLIDE PENDANT IN THE STUART STYLE.
The closed back setting is made in bright yellow metal, capped with a step cut rock crystal, over hair panel embellished with gold wire work initials and wire work border. the slide would have been threaded on ribbon and worn as a bracelet or choker collar, it has been attached to a string of statement baroque pearls as a feature pendant. Dimensions 1.8cm x 1.5cm, length of pearls 76cm, each pearl approx 8mm to 10mm. Weight 87.3gms.
