GIBSON - 2005 Les Paul 'Music Rising' Hand Painted Special Edition guitar. Unique 'Mardi Gras' themed paint job with usual plastic parts replaced with native gulf wood. Mahogany body with a maple top and nickel hardware and Burstbucker humbuckers.
Created by U2's The Edge, producer Bob Ezrin, and then-Gibson CEO Henry Juszkiewicz for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts to replace instruments lost in the gulf.

Please note the handpainted nature of the guitar has left paint splats on the rear of the guitar. There are no signs of damage in this area.
The guitar is in very good condition, and has been kept in case as a collectors item. The body and neck so no signs of scratches, dents or cracks. The Neck is well attached to the body with no sign of repair. There are some areas of the guitar that need a clean, with minor sections of spots appearing on the rear and side of the body.
The handpainted nature of this guitar has left splotches of paint on the rear of the body and neck. This is what may look like damage to the neck.
We cannot guarantee electrical items but the guitar has been plugged in and appears functional.
Hardware and frets could do with some cleaning due to time in storage. There is some oxidisation on the treble switch with a sand like texture.
