A JEWEL SCARAB BEETLE NECKLACE
mounted in 9ct gold, the seven iridescent beetles are suspended from a pearl set chain, further set with oval and pear shaped amethysts in galleried multi claw settings, with a pair of matching screw back earrings. Length of the necklace 38.5cm, length of the earring drops 3.5cm. Necklace has safety chain. Weight all together 21.1gms
The Screw backs on the earrings, are a modern conversion and are gold plated silver, The necklace is stamped 9c to the clasp. This necklace is in superb condition, very well made, all beetles are intact and undamaged, amethysts are all good deep purple, pearls on the necklace are natural, split pearls, pearls on the earrings are cultured and more modern.
