Two gold nugget brooches, the back of the brooch is stamped 14k with many tiny gold nuggets soldered as decoration to the front, further set with thin marquis shaped agate gemstones in cream and brown. In original box from E.A. Suter Pioneer Jeweler, Fairbanks, Alaska. Dimensions 4.8cm x 0.8cm, smaller example 3.9cm x 0.7cm. weight 8.7gms.
E.A Suter was a watchmaker & jeweler in Fairbanks, Alaska, He was working during The Klondike Goldrush of 1896 until 1910 when he moved to Seattle.
