A DIAMOND SET MOURNING BROOCH
mounted in yellow metal with panels of onyx, black enamel and split pearls. The old cut diamond is estimated approx 0.90cts, and is claw set to the centre of the onyx. With glazed panel verso (empty) and engraved 24th April 1904, but may be older than this date. Dimensions 4.7cm x 2.2cm. Weight 15.4gms In original box from R. Stewart, 122 -132 Argyle Street, Glasgow.
In good condition, glazed panel still intact, just needs packing out with card and a piece of silk.
