A collection of gold and yellow metal mounted items to include;- a pair of 9ct amethyst earrings by Murrle Bennett, three yellow metal mounted sapphire drops, 9mm x 7mm x 5.7mm, 8mm x 6mm x 4.8mm, 7.2mm x 5.6mm x 2.8mm approx, a baroque pearl pendant 13.5mm x 11.7mm, faux pearl earrings in 9ct mounts, a banded onyx drop and two Scottish river pearls, approx 7.1mm 9.2mm.

the sapphires are cut to maximise the colour, there are strong zone lines and areas that are nearly colourless if viewed from some angles. Zoning and platelets in some indicative of sapphires. Scottish river pearls Button shaped example pink in colour with a blue iridescences, the other is brown from about a third to the bottom edge, there is some chipping to the layers here too, around the drill hole.
