Also Part of the Foul Coal workings, in Dylon's Pitt." by Dudley Clark, dated July 1700; two smaller plans relating to the Grange coalmining operations; an extensive selection of 19th century documents and correspondence relating to the surveyor and mining engineer Robert Bald etc.
A very extensive and richly detailed archive that would reward in-depth study. The above description covers only a small portion of the material included.
