A circa 1930s pink silk velvet cape with white fox fur collar, lined with champagne satin; a blue silk velvet opera coat with scalloped hem, lined in champagne silk velvet; and another in green silk velvet with gathered ruched sleeve and neck details (3)
Pink cape: There is general discolouration to the velvet across the garment. The fur and velvet are detached on one side at the front. There are some stains on the back. There is only one tie closure. Blue coat: There is general discolouration, stains, balding, and a rip to the front. There is also rips to the inside of the front and it looks like there has been hook and eye closures which have been removed and left small rips. On one shoulder there is a rip. There are stains and holes to the lining, and a repaired area to one shoulder on the inside. Green coat: General discolouration and stains, particularly to the back. The bottom hem has come undone. There is no closures and the front appears to have been cut or is unfinished. There is a piece of fabric sewn to the back neck, possibly a hood which has been cut. Sleeve hems have come undone.
